1   Shipping Carrier

We ship exclusively through USPS— and there is a real reason for that. USPS gives us reliable service, solid tracking, and the widest delivery reach in the country. Whether you are around the corner in Munhall or across the country, USPS gets there.

We offer three service tiers to fit your timeline and budget:

  • USPS Ground Advantage
  • USPS Priority Mail
  • USPS Priority Mail Express

2   Shipping Methods and Estimated Delivery Times

Pick the option that works best for you. Here is a quick breakdown:

Heads up: These delivery windows are USPS estimates, not guarantees. Delays can happen, especially during busy seasons or in areas with limited service. We will always do our best to get your order out quickly on our end.

3   Handling Time

We typically process and ship orders within 1 to 3 business daysof payment clearing. We want your package moving as fast as possible.

  • Orders placed on weekends or holidays will begin processing the next business day.
  • During high volume periods — drops, sales, convention season — handling may take an extra day or two.
  • If there is any delay on our end, we will communicate it. You will not be left wondering.

4   Packaging Standards

This is something we take seriously. Every order that leaves Steel City Figs is packed with collector grade care. We know how much condition matters — because we collect too.

  • Items are wrapped in bubble wrap before boxing.
  • Boxes are sized appropriately to minimize movement during transit.
  • Fragile or high value pieces receive extra padding and reinforcement.
  • We do not use oversized boxes with loose filler for small items.
  • Mint in box figures and sealed items are handled carefully to preserve packaging integrity.
Our goal is simple: your figure arrives in the same condition it left our hands. If we would not be happy receiving it that way, we do not ship it that way.

5   Tracking

Every order ships with a USPS tracking number. Here is what to expect:

  • You will receive your tracking information by email once the label is created.
  • Tracking updates may take up to 24 hours to appear after the label is generated — this is normal on USPS’s end.
  • Once your order is in transit, we encourage you to keep an eye on it through the USPS website or app.

6   Lost or Missing Packages

If your tracking shows delivered but your package has not shown up, here is what to do:

  • Check with neighbors or any secondary delivery spots — porch, side door, mailroom, etc.
  • Allow 1 to 2 business days. USPS occasionally marks packages as delivered slightly before final drop.
  • If the package is still missing after 48 hours, contact us and we will open a USPS claim on your behalf.
  • For Priority Mail orders: USPS includes up to $100 of insurance. We will assist you through the claim process.
We are not responsible for packages that are confirmed delivered to the correct address — but we will always do our best to help resolve the situation. You will not be on your own.

7   Incorrect Address Policy

Please double check your shipping address before completing checkout. A quick look now can save a lot of headache later.

  • If you need to update your address, contact us as soon as possible. Once a label is created we may not be able to make changes.
  • If an order is returned due to an address error provided by the customer, the customer is responsible for the cost of reshipping.
  • We will reach out when a return to sender package arrives and hold it for 14 daysbefore it is restocked.

8   Return to Sender

If USPS is unable to deliver your package and sends it back to us, here is exactly what happens next:

  • We will notify you by email when the package arrives back at our location.
  • You will have the option to have it reshipped (additional shipping cost applies) or refunded minus the original shipping cost.
